Russia will raise the curtain on their home tournament against Saudi Arabia on Thursday, June 14, while Portugal face Spain on the opening Friday after December’s draw pitted the neighbours against one another.
France, Argentina, Germany and Brazil are all in action across the first weekend before the Three Lions take centre stage on the first Monday of the World Cup.
The group stage concludes on Thursday, June 28 when we will know the last 16 heading into the second half of the competition.
